Configuring Call Blocking in JioSecurity?

 


Call Blocking’ feature of JioSecurity helps you block unwanted calls from specific numbers. You can also block all unknown callers that are not in your contact list.

Note: 'Call Blocking' feature is available only on Android phones.

Note: SMS or Text Blocking is not supported on Android 4.4 or later.

Adding a contact to the Block List:

  • From the Home Screen, launch the JioSecurity app.
  • Swipe through the screens to reach the Device screen.
  • Tap on ‘Call Blocking’.
  • To block calls and messages from all the unknown numbers, on the Block List tab, tap on ‘Block all unknown callers’.
  • To block specific numbers, in the bottom-right corner, tap the ‘+’ sign.
  • Select a contact from the Call Log or Contacts list, and then tap on ‘OK’ to confirm. If you want to add a new contact to block list, on the new tab, type the number and the name, and then tap on Block. Tap ‘OK’ to confirm.

Editing or removing a contact from the Block List:

  • From the Home Screen, launch the JioSecurity app.
  • Swipe through the screens to reach the Device screen.
  • Tap Call Blocking.
  • On the Block List tab, tap on a contact that you want to edit or remove.
